New User/First Time owner - Maintenance Recommendations?
Hi,
I'm a new user and first time Vette owner. I picked up my dream car shortly before the 4th of July this year - 1999 C5 Vert Black on Beige 6 speed manual 40,000 miles. The car is in immaculate condition and is bone stock aside from a set of 2010 C6 Grand Sport wheels. My plan for mods is relatively mild suspension, brakes, headers, exhaust, intake, tune, and audio. I am excited to first dig into the preventative maintenance side. The car is running great however, like most, I'd feel better knowing it's received a refresh.
I'm fairly mechanically inclined as a former USN Super Hornet mechanic and have worked on cars much of my life however I would love to hear and collect info on your recommended maintenance schedules and more specifically brands/sources for all fluids/consumables. I plan to compile a pretty comprehensive list of your recommendations before digging into the car. All info is appreciated regarding the following - thanks in advance!
