If you have a duplicate key with a chip, just take it to any locksmith facility. They can measure the chip resistance with a machine that they already have and cut you a perfect match. No dealer for $100.00 and Eckler's is always overpriced. Cost me $25.00... GOOD LUCK!

As mentioned, you have a number of options. Perhaps the easiest would be a locksmith. Be prepared to show a number of documents to prove you are the owner of the vehicle or you may not get a key cut.
I ordered one at our local GM/Chevy/Cadilliac store......................to the tune of 74USD and gave me the key code and cut from the orignal key
I wont do that again.......lesson learned
I measured my VATS value and bought the right key on ebay. Took it to chevy dealer and they totally fucked it up. Next time I will go to a professional.
STRATTEC makes a GM-identical replacement for these, factory appearance, which is important to me. Even the 50th key. Measured mine, ordered the right value, and the guy at Home Depot cut them for me at no charge.
