Default Before and After - TSW Interlagos

I've been saving the parts for this project for a while. I wanted to lower it years ago when ECS had it - but they said the front adjusters were seized - and that they had another spring like mine and it was seized as well. Fast-forward to Carlisle maybe 4y ago - I'm going through a big pile of springs - cell phone in one hand showing the PN for the Z51 front - sweating my *** off while the vendor watches from the shade of his tent. I think he was from Staten Island - a bear of a man with 2 gorgeous daughters with him. He sent one over to bring me a water from his cooler - THAT'S what makes it so great I did find the spring - it sat in my garage and when I saw @Too Slow '90 selling his wheels that set the whole thing in motion. Drove to pick them up in VA and stopped in DE to get the tires. Krazy House was confident they could get the adjusters loose on the old springs (nope) - so my Carlisle Special went in as well as lowering bolts. They said they could have gone lower in the rear but the fronts were bottomed-out and they wanted to keep the rake. Before it was 29(R) and 27.5(F) - after it was 27.5(R) and 26.75(F) - just enough to close up the gap but still get a good alignment. I'm riding on Bilstein B8's so bottoming not an issue (they are a bit firm). Some said they like the "black chrome" better (2009 ZR1 pattern - also from Carlisle) - others like the "modern look" of the polished aluminum. I'm still undecided - but they said they can powder-coat them any color I want - we'll see what happens once they pick up some dings - worst case they get demoted to track day use - they ARE light...

Those TSW's look much better. Thanks for posting the wheel & tire specs, in the database.

anyone see a bootleg version of the TSW? I missed out early this year for a set in black.

Now I'm debating to buy tsw or just another front c6z for square setup

jjc508520...my vote is for the TSW's..not that it matters. Glad you are happy with them after a blow out in torrential rain in your forerunner a lesser man would have thrown the towel in. They are pretty light so powder coating is not a bad idea if you get tired of the polished look.

I like both but if I had to choose, I'd choose the top picture ones.

I too have the TSWs and they are STUPID lite. I have other wheels but when I can pull off a mounted wheel and tire TSW and it weigh less than a replica ANY wheel by itself. Yeah Ill stay with the TSW. Plus they clear big brakes
