l Have seen these seats here in the greater LA area going for as much as $1000 for the pair and never as low as $600. l say if they are in good mechanical shape and look ok, its a very good deal imo
If the plugs don't match and I just switch the cushions then won't they not be electric still?
hmm..that sounds plausible but not too sure. One would believe that with all the times this seat swap has been performed over the years there would be a plug and play adapter or at the very least a simple wiring schematic to be found on here to do the wiring yourself as there arent many wires to begin with.
Just have to figure out if they bolt right up. I've seen both answers that yes they do and no they don't and you have to use the c5 rails
Yes the have the same bolt pattern. Bolt right in and use the above adapter for power. Works perfect. I did this in April of this year. And yes that is a very good deal. I see those are Z06 seats. The passenger seat may be manual. Then you would only need 1 adapter. The only things you need to do to the C6 seats os take off the seat belt receptacle and put the one from the C5 seat on. And also on the outboard side of each C6 seat there is a bolt that needs to be cut off.
