I also changed the fog lights to these. After turning the aim screw 4 times clock wise I can now get some use out of them. Past dawn and early evening I can use them instead of the headlights. $37
Outside of the Hikari Ultra LED bulb most LED bulbs are significantly outclassed by performance halogen bulbs. Yes, LED gives a ton of short range foreground light. It’s not good for distance and does not help your driving.
A member of a forum I’m on has done extensive testing of a significant amount of headlamp bulbs including halogen and LED and only the Hikari Ultra are worth anything.
I run Vosla 9012 HIR low beam bulbs and are pleased with them. Do they have the same color and clarity of my RadioFlyer ACAs, no, but they have none of the drawbacks either.

OK, so what's the best upgrade to the existing lighting? replace the bulb with 9012 HIR s?

The Hikari Ultras are great bulbs, but they have a very short lifespan. I have them on my F150 and they are outstanding performers, but I've had the truck 3 years, and I'm on my 3rd set. They're worth tolerating the short lifespan for the performance they offer though.

IMHO the BEST option is the radioflyer ACA headlights from Sharp Light Innovations. However, these do not keep the stock housing, and they certainly are not cheap. Any LED you put in the stock housing will result in a very scattered light pattern. The stock reflector just wasn't designed for LEDs. With that said, I ran with LEDs for over a year before upgrading to the ACA recently.
These are what I went with. Can’t beat the price and they are a lot brighter than the factory. You can see the difference in the driver side being factory bulb and passenger being the LED.
