Default Weather sealant.

Hi everyone. I've been enjoying my new (to me) '06 Lemans Blue, Z51 convertible for a few months now and would like to ask a question. I was wondering if any of you
have any recommendations on any products to preserve the seals around the convertible top. The rubber areas above the windshield and the rear seal at the back.
Mine seem to be in good shape but I'd like to preserve them as best I can.
Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance.

What is that? Is there a brand name it goes under?
And thanks!

I think I have seen this. It's silicone grease right? Also how do you apply it? Directly or with a cloth or sponge?
Thanks again!

Not silicone. I use my finger to apply.

You can use dielectic grease. I use a product that I got from a body shop years ago - natural silicone lubricant.

I have used Dynatex Brake System Silicone Compound on my Targa weather striping. I put it on the targa top and the frame and it reseals to stop leaks! I put on with my fingers. It's 100 % silicone. Good Luck.
