finally got the hu/speakers/door panels/other interior bits all packed back together, ready to drop it off for new rims/tires and supercharger/cam install … my wife gets my parking spot for the next few weeks :-)
Here's the "before" pic... shame I can't find the dyno printout from when I did the exhaust/tune..
Congrats, and good luck. I know from experience, it's gonna be a totally different car when you get it back.
I hope so!!
Optimistically, I'm gunning for 500 ish hp (last dyno iirc, with headers/exhaust/intake/tune was at 360).. but at least north of 475.
But we'll see :-)
Gotcha! I only have experience with the A&A. I know the A&A with a cam and the headers/exhaust you already have would very easily make 500rwhp. Do you know roughly how many pounds of boost you'll be looking at? I gained 188 RWHP at 10 PSI. That was with the stock cam and exhaust manifold.

depending on the pully, I'll be running between 8-10 pounds. 188hp gain, sweet!
You should be able to hit 500rwhp easily then. I suspect with the cam and headers that 10 PSI will get you closer to 550+rwhp. Are you running the stock transmission? I bring this up as you're potentially getting up to a point that you'll want to upgrade. My transmission was destroyed during the first dyno pull after the A&A install. I ended up upgrading to a stage 5 transmission from RPM. You might be fine with the stock transmission though. It's right on that borderline.

yeah, stock 6spd. for now I'm keeping it, if it can't handle it... well, that's another upgrade :-)
slight switch in direction... decided to go with an A&A --- I still have a marginal preference for a roots, but since the Eforce isn't supported on the c5, I'll end up having to add on a kit like lingenfelder (sure I'm misspelling that) to adapt it ... and get a new hood. I'd rather get something that has continued support.

You won't regret going with the A&A. I've been really happy with mine. I'll admit that you won't get the same whine sound as you would with the roots style supercharger. However, the BOV in the A&A system sounds pretty cool. Also, as you have mentioned the customer support for the A&A is second to none! I'm really looking forward to seeing your results.

You do know that the Eforce has been done on a C5, a Z06 if I remember correctly, with only minor hood mods? I just recently watch a YouTube video on the process. Looked more intimidating than an A&A setup though.

yeah.. I saw that video. Problem is even with notching the hood underside support members, unless you want to cut a hole in it/put a window (which I've also seen) you have to drop the motor I think 1/2 inch, and notch the hood. I seriously considered it -- it's not that big a deal -- but what pushed me over the edge is that A&A is still actively supporting their super... for the edlebrock, I'd have to get a c6 kit for a ls2, then adapt it either myself or use one of those lingerfelder kits, and then either drop the motor or get a new hood. Really the first point that pushed me... I'm not keen on doing prototype work.. I've done plenty of that with my '88 cherokee :-) And if something goes wrong, I'm not on my own. Plus I have no idea what dropping the motor, even that little, will do to the driveline.
