2001 gas tank problem?

Hi, I vaguely remember a thread about gas tank problems in certain years/VINs. A search did not turn up anything. Anyway, I'm considering a 2001. What is the source for the range of VINs of cars that might be affected? Thanks. Any other info. on the issue appreciated.

They all have problems. techron helps. I never leave my car in storage with out a FULL tank. It stopped it from messing up the sender, It happened twice with partial tank storage. Good Luck.

All years may have gas tank sending unit issues. The years of late 2003 and 2004 have gas tank leaking issues with the fuel tank cross over fuel line from the left to the right tanks.
