I wanted to protect the a/c condenser and radiator from road debris and used a section of rain gutter screen. I bought the screen at Home Depot and cut to length so that it slid under the nose on both left and right sides and notched the front edge so it would slide under the washers of the 7 mm mounting screws. It fits tight and it does leave about an inch at the rear edge open just above the air dam. I’d say that it covers about 95% of that large opening that acts as a vacuum cleaner. FWIW guys. Tucked in on right side Notched and caught under washers Tucked in on left side The lip isn’t necessary but I worked with it A screen 7” wide and flat would be ideal and cover the entire opening
Nice job! Thanks for sharing. That seems like it will do a good job of keeping larger debris out. I might be a bit concerned that it could reduce air flow. Did you notice any difference in coolant temp?
I need to do this. My radiator was pretty packed with grass clippings. I got most of them out with a hose, but didn't feel like taking the whole assembly apart to get all of it. Maybe when I upgrade the radiator.
