LS6 vs LS2.....Higher Ceiling for Forced Induction?
Been toying with the idea of getting back into another Corvette lately. Possibly have it narrowed down to an 01-04 Z06 or 05-07 coupe based on my budget. Comparing the LS6 and the LS2 stock blocks, which block has the higher ceiling when it comes to forced induction and safe horsepower limits? Thinking I would like to throw a blower/turbo on the car and put it on e85. In the neighborhood of 650whp would be my goal. Which is the better route to get me there?
I heard from a reliable source that LS1, 6 and 3 hold up better to forced induction. I really do not know why that would be and did not follow up on it as I have an LS1. Sorry I cannot say who.

Prepare to replace your tranny and alot of other parts. 650rwhp
is more than your stock drivetrain can handle. If you go to the
dragstrip you will need alot of safety equip. Look at it this way you are
going from 350hp to 750/800 hp.
The Turbo/blower will be just the beginning of your emptying your wallet.
Good luck
