Pricy, but if it's clean and what you want, you're not too bad.

Certainly not a bargain but I'd try for that price if I was the seller. Summer is ending and depending on vehicle location "firm" may not work for them.

Not a steal and not a bargain. So much depends on where you live too.

I paid $16.8k for my 2001 vert with 48k miles a few months ago probably at the height of the time people were buying vettes for the summer.

Not a good price, not a bad price. If it truly "needs nothing" $19,500 is fair. Still, even though he says firm, I'd offer him less. It's just the way things are done when it comes to buying used stuff.

This is a reasonable price. I would get a pre-purchase inspection by someone who knows these cars. I would also read all of the stickys on the C5 forum. Check the date codes on the tires. If they're old, you can use that to negotiate. If the car truly needs nothing, and it is exactly what you want, go for it!

Low-mileage C5 verts seem to be pretty desirable, right now. Z06's, too.

in that case I'm going to ask 18k for mine, I have aftermarket parts and even include the stock parts at no charge.

rare black on black and no leaks. I know what I have.

I think it's about time you come to the realization that low mileage C5's are commanding top dollar these days.

I bought a 2001 silver 6-speed vert with 97K miles on it in June for $12,000, there is a very nice discount to be had if you don't mind one with moderately high miles. And even that isn't many miles for the year.
