Looking at 02 Convertible automatic with 21k miles . Needs nothing priced at 19500 .....firm . Thoughts on pricing ? Market value for this vehicle now?
Certainly not a bargain but I'd try for that price if I was the seller. Summer is ending and depending on vehicle location "firm" may not work for them.
Not a good price, not a bad price. If it truly "needs nothing" $19,500 is fair. Still, even though he says firm, I'd offer him less. It's just the way things are done when it comes to buying used stuff.
This is a reasonable price. I would get a pre-purchase inspection by someone who knows these cars. I would also read all of the stickys on the C5 forum. Check the date codes on the tires. If they're old, you can use that to negotiate. If the car truly needs nothing, and it is exactly what you want, go for it!

I could not agree more! All good info for you considering that buy. Best wishes and good luck!

I bought a 2001 silver 6-speed vert with 97K miles on it in June for $12,000, there is a very nice discount to be had if you don't mind one with moderately high miles. And even that isn't many miles for the year.
You better spend some time studying Corvette cars Man... A question like that from newbie is.... Well... Where dose one begin answering .... Be more "specific" about your inquiries.
