I had the same question last December. Depending upon your budget and sense of aesthetics, you have multiple choices including a clear wrap. I found not all bras are created equal; and some after-market, non OEM seemed a bit sloppy. Your call. I ended up buying (and pleased with) an original GM which I found on that behemoth online auction portal. Here's my original post thread:https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...eed-a-bra.html

Be aware though if you buy a GM bra to just throw away the provided fasteners and make a trip to the local hardware store. The ones provided don't even come close to working.

The GM bra works well and you might be able to find a used one for sale in the C5 Parts for Sale section. Installing a protective film like Xpel provides a lot of protection, but the price is up there. Another option is a bra from Speed Lingerie - top quality product that fits very well but it too is a bit expensive.

I got a GM bra when I bought my '02. While it covers the nose very well, it is pretty heavy. And if gets wet, it takes some time for it to dry out And you don't want to leave it on the car while wet. You could see moisture build under the bra and could cause paint damage.

I bought a Speed Lingerie a few years ago and it also works well. Because its a mesh cover, any water quickly drains away. It has pretty much the same dimensions and the snaps are in the same locations for either one.. The Speed Lingerie bra will roll up in to a small ball shape and can easily be stored. Mine came with small covers for the mirror housings.. The GM bra folds to about 24"x18"x4" .

+1 on the gm bra. for the price, you can't beat it, and it fits perfectly.
Speed lingerie looks a bit better, but super expensive. If you're going with black, just stick with the GM bra, the big leg up speed lingerie has is it's available in multiple colors.
