HACKED-UP the corvette dash to squeeze in a new ..bigger stereo with back up camera and Navigation...wires..wires everywhere......

Didn't even have to remove the steel trays for for the radio or AC controls...everything fit snug with no cutting or drilling.
Made my own deck brackets from steel strapping....Reverse camera was a breeze too..hacked into back up lights wiring..
do you have any pictures of the bezel before you installed it ? showing how much you altered it .

ill be removing the bezel this weekend to put a USB port in the cigarette lighter hole...I'll snap a few pics and post them then

Here are a couple pics i took today...dremeled 1/4" off the top bar and the ac unit bar...added a couple of plastic "wings" to the sides to fill in gap at the head unit...added a bit of putty on the wings..sanded...painted wings flat black and dabbed wet paint with a piece of leather to add a bit of texture...not too bad if i do say so..
looks good and you didn't have spend 2 or 3 hundred for a bezel . thats what keeps me from putting a double din in mine , but now it seems a little more likely to happen . thanks for the info and pictures .
