Hello everyone and hope you are well ,I am having problems with my tire pressure sensors in my 99 FRC .Went to a couple of tire dealers today and none of them had the programming tool needed to program the sensors once they're installed. The last place said i might want to go to the dealer. I know i definitely do not want to go to the dealer. This is the first time i have had any problems with my tire sensors period, Guess i have been lucky considering i have had the car since 2009.My question is where do you folks get your tire pressure sensors installed and where do you recommend for me to take my car to? I appreciate any help and i have always gotten great help from you on the forum. Thank you,Karey
Just about any tire shop can install them and you can program them yourself. It only takes a circular magnet to program them.An old speaker magnet is what i always use.
I bought Schrader for my 2000 and Bell Tire installed them when I put new tires on. Use a magnet as jamieo said. Nothing to program them. It did take a few miles of driving before the pressure appeared on the dash.
