I'm sad to hear that the Michelin run-flats are no longer available! I need new tires next spring. I thought the Michelins were great, at least with the mag-ride in my 2003.
I just pulled the trigger on a set of wheels and tires from tire rack. Flow forged wheels, 19x10.5 and 18x9.5. Also Bridgestone pole position tires. 305 30 19 and 275 35 18. Its expensive but I think the 18/19 combo will be better in the future as far as tire choices. And GM TPMS sensors.
I hear the pole position sidewall is stiffer then the hancooks, continental, and generals Tires.
I’ll post pics in a new thread next week when there on.
Hi guys. Any recommendations on tires with a rim guard, all season run flats? Looking to get 285/30/19 and 245/35/19. Hopefully there will be Black Friday deals coming up for the holiday on tires.
For what it is worth, I waited several years to find F1 Supercar tires for my Z. I guess demand is low so GY just doesn't make them. Earlier this year someone posted that Tire Discounters had them in stock. I took a chance and ordered them, really not suspecting the order would be filled. I was pleasantly surprised when they came in! Nice to have the car back in original form 😎.
Baby is getting new shoes today. Goodyear finally made some factory size F1 Supercar tires again. It's been several years since they were available.
Wow, never had seen that before, 4 floor jacks lifting a Corvette, heck any car for that matter.
