Default Lingenfelter Engine identification help

Ok guys. It has been a very long time since I have been on here. But help me out here. My dad bought a 99 FRC that has been modded pretty good. After sending me some pics, its far from stock low mile. For instance the head casting numbers have been machined off of it and the only thing we can find is a stamp "LPE-2549" on the block. Not going to list everything else I saw with just the pics. He was looking to see if they were stock heads, since it is obviously cammed. Fast infake and oil cooler relocation kit on it with most obvious bolt ons. I am assuming its a LPE block of some kind. Runs strong and hard, just curious if anyone on here would have a clue.

At Linginfelter's web site, you can pay $45 and send them the VIN of the car and they will send you the build sheet if they modified the car. FYI

Thanks, he found that last night and submitted it.

The car was bought off a small used car lot. He bought it put it on the lift and he started sending me pics. This car is modded like it was meant for road racing or autocross. The only figured it had a cam, fast and headers. Car is low mile and in great shape for a 99 FRC. Just finding everything else is a bonus at this point. Thanks again.

It is too bad LPE would charge for this. I'm not a fan of their tune policy of not tuning anything they didn't build, either. BUT-THEY MAKE GREAT STUFF!! I've been a customer since the late 1980s, when it was called John Lingenfelter Racing. They're pricey, but in my opinion, they make as good, or better, products than anyone in the world......

Just and update....

The car that was bought used only listed as having a cam headers and fast. Well it is a LPE403 LS2 with worked heads. Not only was it bought with low miles (38k miles) but with all the mods it has, looks likebhebgotba fairly good deal.

I went and looked at a 95 C-4 coupe a few weeks ago, $5400 asking. It had Lingenfelter valve covers and that's about it, wasn't as lucky, but had to check it out for that price. It was modded but not by LPE. Took a pass on it.
