So,
Not too sure if any of you were aware of a scammer that was lingering in the threads but I was looking for a coilover set and ultimately, I sent some money and never heard from the guy.

Anywho, screw him, I found this set locally from a guy who said they have never been installed and are from west coast corvettes. They were a good friend of his passed away so he was selling some stuff he had in his garage for his wife.

Ultimately, I bought them but for the life of me can’t figure out what brand they are.

PLEASE HELP!

I dunno the brand maybe BC Racing? My concern is more on how do you plan to mount the rear ones? That is not how the top of them go for a C5.

Is it possible to reuse the top mount for the back maybe?
If they're not for my car, then what kind of car then?
This guy had a lot of other c5 parts so that's why I was pretty confident that they would fit.

The top mounting plate comes off the car with the shock. Then that would be swapped to these coilovers...

That's what i thought lol but I cannot find anything on these.
I'm assuming the numbers on the boxes indicate the spring rate

Just FYI in case you weren't aware. You can post your bad experience with a sale in the Transactions Feedback thread. Or report the scammer to the mods

if its 400/500 thats lighter than an FE1 suspension(440/577)... BUT that doesnt tell the whole story because I believe coilover springs act slightly differently than the transverse leaf spring in how that rate affects suspension movement.

Worse case you are out a day of wrenching on your car and you put it back to stock...

Have you tried reaching out to West Coast Corvettes? If they sold them, then they can probably tell you what brand they are.

Based on the look in your pictures (adjuster nuts and grooved coarse threaded body) I believe those are AFCO shocks, they have changed colors over the years, silver, gold, blue, those may be private labeled for distribution in the aftermarket.
