Any advice on how to install a rear passenger marker light on a C5. It doesn't look like there is enough room to get my hand and a ratchet in there at the same time to tighten the speed nuts.
Use a box end gearwrench. They work really well in tight spots. Also it's a little more work but removing the fender liner makes it ultra easy to get to.

Pull the tail light assembly out for whichever side you're working on. I just put a new 194 bulb in the drivers side of my '00 Vert. No problems.....
It’s a tight area to work in for sure. The passenger side was most difficult. I think I spent about 30 minutes on the passenger side and 5 on the drivers.
I don’t recall the size but like others said just use a box wrench and turn as much as you can and readjust.
I have the ratcheting wrenches which would have helped, but my set didn’t have that size, of course.

You can go in through the rear outboard tail light and have access to the side marker light housing. Or easy access with the fender liner removed as mentioned.
