Default Sway bars and shocks

Hello

2004 base coupe FE1 suspension, used as weekend cruiser / holliday trips in sommer, no dragracing or tracksdays.
Planning to change shock absorbers for C6 Z06 shock absorbers this spring and possibly also anti-roll bars for C6 Z06/Z51 sway bars but apparently the C6 Z06 front sway bar is in back order (no eta) / discontinued?
Have found someone from Steinjager, https://steinjager.com/shop/index.ph...oduct_id=43663 who is in stock and has searched the forum but the latest thread I can find is from start 2018 so is there someone who has recent experience with them?
And finally, does it make sense to change sway bars as well or is it enough to change endlinks and bushings on those sitting on now?

Merry x-mas and happy new year

Nice low cost addition.....might contact EAS or another Corvette breaker yard for used sways... not like they wear out as long as they’re true.

I have Steinjager sways front 1-1/4" and rear 1", part# J0015194. Great bars, but included spacers suck the Steinjager stainless adjustable end links are great. Should you go with these bars PM me and I will give you make and part# for spacers. I also have C6 Z06 shocks, these with the bars are a great setup.

I have the C6 Z51 sway bars and C6 Z06 shocks. Since you have an '04 your end links should be fine, but you can replace if you wish. I've never used Steinjager, so I can't speak to them. Have you reached out to Zip Corvette?

Your bars replacement is the number one improvement that can be made to any C5... 👍 You're gonna be thrilled!

I had the ADDCO "T-1 Style" Sway Bars on my C5 FRC and they were rock solid.

Coupled with QA-1 12-Way Adjustable shocks and there was zero sway/yaw. The suspension was SOLID.

Unknowing, I attempted to "upgrade" my ADDCO's to the real GM T-1 Sway bars and the front bar was only 1mm thicker than the ADDCO and the rear bar was exactly the same. A waste of money!!

ADDCO was 99% identical to GM T-1 at a fraction of the cost!! Back then, I paid about $550. My understanding is the price of ADDCO's went up.

Without a doubt, I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND the ADDCOs!!
