Default Corbeau Evolution X Seats??

I am looking to replace the stock seats in my c5z. I know that this topic is like beating a dead horse but I have not found any good information about these seats in regards to the height of the seat bottoms compared to stock. I am 5'10 and I want to make sure that I will be high enough in the car. Also another worry is being able to get close enough to the pedals. If anyone has these seats and is willing to give me some information or input, it would be a great help. Thanks.

Maybe these will help, somewhat.

When I did my Corbeau EVO X's I had a 38" waist and they were perfect. I'm a 34" waist now and I'm kinda swimmin' in them in the hips area, but they're still awesome seats. I am 5'10" and long in the torso, and I would say the seating position is almost identical. Maybe 1/2 lower, nothing unreasonable. I machined a couple 1/4" net fit aluminum fillers for the front bolts because I desired a more leaned back seating angle. Corbeau brackets dont fit real great, but in all honesty they are parr for the course in comparison to other stuff I have used in the past.

Thank you for responding. Im a 30 inch waist so I might slide around a bit but im like that in all seats since im a small guy. I do like the spacers in the front for the recline angle and thigh support. Based on it being only 1/2 in lower from what you have said that helps a ton for my decision.Thanks.

I'm also 5'10" with a 30" waist. I don't think you're going to have issues reaching the pedals with any current aftermarket seat options. However, seats are expensive. As such, the very best advice that I can give would be to actually sit in any seats that you're interested in BEFORE you buy them. Check around with your local clubs (or you can try posting in your regional forum) to find someone with the seat you're interested in. Everyone's body is different. Don't spend a bunch of money on a seat until you know for sure that you like it.

FYI, I used 1" spacers in the front for thigh support on long drives.

I bought $67.00 eBay seat platforms for C5 pattern and cut the front bolt tabs and welded 2 inches to front tabs for the right angle, as you can run out of stud to anchor the seat. I used Braum racing seats $700.00 for both.

I have been trying to find a vendor for corbeau in order to sit in the seats but its tough with covid restrictions. I live 3 hours from LA in California so if anyone is close to that it might be worth a drive for me.
