drill you some holes and they'll fit. they look good in black
The wiring is identical so they are controlled flawlessly but physically they're bigger/more robust than the C5.
It's obvious that GM increased their size due to the fragility of the base to prevent folding spring breakage. My research into these mirrors found zero complaints of mirror breakage due to being folded in, whereas it often happens when C5 mirrors are folded.
I was inspired by the look of two tone C7 models with contrasting mirrors such as this
Nice Job putting them on, I'm still trying to figure out how they look in my mind tbh. Almost look like they stand too tall but I guess its hard to tell without a side by side comparison.
I might just have to get a set and try them out.
^yes they do stand a bit taller than the originals. This is because of the mounting holes I chose to re-use pushed them a bit higher. You can re-use a different hole and they would be lower but that means more holes in the door.

do these connections just plug in to the existing harness or is there additional wiring and connections required ?
States is not.plug n play. And the plugs look different to me
I understand him to say that they are "not plug and play" from the perspective that you will have to drill new holes to mount the mirrors; however, he does say; "The wiring is identical so they are controlled flawlessly....." I cannot see any difference in the plugs as he shows them in his hand, but I may be overlooking something you saw.

Maybe it's just me I'm looking at it wrong I don't know the ones on the left which are supposedly C6 are 6 connector sockets whatever you want to call it, in each one and the ones on the right which I think he said are the C5 ones with 4 sockets. I am not sure what i am missing. Please tell me.
OK maybe I haven't figured out, top is a set for one door for c6, on the bottom is a set for the C5, so obviously the pins are still in the car and they just plug in to these mirror plugs, is what I am guessing. So there is 2 connector plugs for each mirror. ?

Yes. 2 connector plugs per mirror. One big one and one small one.
