These were taken tonight after a 3 day detail including light correction, polish, C quartz and Gliss. Its so good to be back in a C5Z. Never left my heart. No other car- including other generations of corvette can make you feel that way. Long live C5Z!

Doesn't really look like a 17 year old car, still looking bright as new gotta love that. Can you provide some details on what products you used on the paint correction and did you use any leather treatment on the inside?

Wow, you must live close to me. My favorite mexican restaurant is just on the other side of Winn Dixie. Cool to know that there is another Z16 in the area.

Sure. I used a DA polisher with meguiars 105 and 205 on orange and white pads. Then I went over it with two coats of https://www.carpro-us.com/protection...-3-0-30ml-kit/ followed by a top coat of https://carpro.global/catalog/gliss/. I'm still going to seal it with https://www.blackfirewax.com/all-fin...rotection.html which will give it a wet organic look. The car had a nice shine to start with but there was significant scratching in the clear coat all over the car as was some acid rain and other inperfections. The car had never been corrected from what I could tell. I just did a light correction as don't like a car to look too perfect as if wet sanded. Looks great on a hot rod, but not so much on a factory car. For the interior, I used a combination of Zaino leather in a bottle and Langlitz leather conditioner to soften up the leather which was actually pretty dry.

I agree that they continue to age so gracefully. Classic lines that get better with age as auto styling goes farther out there.

I live in lancaster park, so yes. We met years ago several times when I did a forum get together. I believe I was driving my 2012 Cent GS vert. Glad to know you still have your CE.

Ahh yes, I remember that now. Thought your screen name sounded familiar. My son now has a Z16 as well. I am off Gatlin/Ferncreek area.

That is COOL. We should all get together. There was a lady that worked in the plaza across from Colonial Photo who drove a Z16 she kept immaculate for years as a daily! Love these cars. Rare? Not really. Cool? **** yeah.

Pictures just don’t do it justice. This Z is a time capsule - super clean and super tight.
