Sorry if this is the wrong section. Seller listed ccw classics that are fit for a C5. Has center caps but they don’t have the ccw logo on them. Other than that how can I tell if they are real?
I have CCW's, I'm actually on my 2nd set, but never owned classics. Maybe someone will chime in here for you that is more familiar.
As far as I know, mine only have CCW on the center caps. I don't know if there are any manufacture's serial numbers on them not, I bought mine as a wheel and tire combo, so the tires were already mounted.
I don't think they are CCWs. Too many holes in the lug nut area. All the CCWs I've seen are machined for the lug nuts only.
well I’ve seen you can actually get ccws to have the multiple bolt patterns like that. I just don’t know if there is a distinct way to tell. He claims they are real but it would be nice to know 100%

So many knock off brands out there that pose as the real thing, it's almost impossible to know just by looking at a picture, so I wouldn't say a definitive "yes" but, they sure do look like it...My advice to you is this, having worked with CCW on a few occasions, they are very good about giving invoices and bills of sale for record keeping....I would ask the seller if he has actual receipts from CCW and to send you a photocopy of that....Those type of wheels and the cost of the legit ones, you would hope most people would keep accountability of that in some form. Just my .02

Why not call or email CCW and tell them you situation and ask if there is any way of telling if they are true CCWs rather than asking for opinions. There are both a phone number and an email address on their website.

yeah he purchased the wheels off of someone else, but I’ll give them a call.

Keep in mind, that the CCW of today, is NOT the CCW of days past. The original CCW company, founded by John Purner, was sold to Weld Wheels, several years ago. THey may not have old records.
And FWIW, I think that the wheels the OP pictured, are the original CCW "race" (drilled centers, to remove weight) wheels. And I, too, had a set of CCW "classics" for several years, and the center caps had a flat face, with no logo.

Good luck determining if they are the real deal. The suggestion to call The manufacturer and see if they can give some insight is a good one, especially if the previous owner does not have any receipts.
Not all CCW center caps have their logo. My CCW's don't.
When I was down at his shop many years ago.
John gave me the choice of plain or branded
I kidded with John that I would give him free
advertiseing by having CCW caps.
Good luck

The last CCW's I purchased from John, in 2014, were a set of 19" SP551's for my 1994 ZR-1 and he included a set of each center. I kept the plain centers after I sold the ZR-1 and they're on my Z06, now.
