Default C5 headlights swap

Hi Y'all,

I replaced my flip up headlights with non- flip ups. To do so I had to removed the brackets hold the old lights.

Now I don't know where to put this part, anyone know what it is, what it does? Thanks all...

That's the headlight motor controller, if you removed the motors it shouldn't be needed.

I respectfully suggest keeping the old flip-up headlights and associated parts in case you ever sell your Corvette in the future. The future owner might want to re-install the flip-ups. For example, I have owned 4 Corvette C5s and have turned down 2 other deals because the seller didn't have the original lights and associated parts. Many others have similar stories. If you don't have the room to store these old parts, perhaps you could list them for sale on this site, as there is always a demand for them from new C5 owners who want to return the original units to their car. Many new owners, especially the younger generation of buyers, install HID lights or especially new LED lights into the housing of the original flip-up units.
