I purchased some Adrenaline red C7 seats and a C7 automatic shift **** to update the interior of my 02 C5. Also got rid of the black interior and went with torch red carpet, plastic, door panels, glove box and knee bolster. The shift **** wasn't to bad to install. Had to cut the main shaft and inner push rod. The plastic guide sleeves for the shift indicator had to be shaved as well. It works great and looks and feels 100% better.
Fantastic work as always. Seats really look great in there and the new shifter **** looks better too. Thanks for the link also, I don't need them right now but I will most likely order a set just to have on hand. I like to buy things and just have parts laying around. 😄
Seats bolt straight in. I removed the C7 lower belt guide on both seats. There is a bracket that holds the switch bezel in place with a torx screw that is at the back of the seat behind the bezel. I tweaked it inward about a1/4" to allow for more clearance between the seat and seat belt cover. It's tight but works. I wired the seats my self but Vettworks makes a plug and play harness.
Beautiful! How was the electrical hookups for seat movement? The seat works with c5 belts?
