Soooo..... how's it holding up?

I haven't done it yet. Eyeballing it again though. And you mentioned you had a trick for the door panels?

It's holding up great! No complaints whatsoever! I removed the fabric from the center console.

Yes, so for the door panels I figured out a SUPER easy way of applying it without removing the two pieces.

Instructions:

1. Clean the surface you are applying the adhesive/fabric to.
2. Cover the rest of the door panel. I used and trash bag and masking tape. Making tape doesn't leave sticky residue.
3. Remove speaker cover. Fold the tabs over and pull out.
4. Lay the fabric over the lower part of the door panel and cut out the shape, make sure you cut it bigger. Also, if you have chalk you can mark it.
5. Spray adhesive onto door panel and fabric.
6. Apply fabric to the door panel. Make sure to rub it onto the door panel and stretch it over the ends.
7. For the gap where the lower and upper panel meet, use an object to tuck it under the lower part. I used an auto glass stick.
8. Smooth it out and review for imperfections.

Pictures to better demonstrate:

No worries! The cage was in the car when I bought it, but after some research I believe it is this one
https://www.racespecialtydesigns.com...?productid=126 it looks identical, so I'm sure it is.

I wonder how it would look in an Electron blue Z06 if just the bottom half of the door were done in the dark blue also offered by Joann Fabric? Hmmm...

I think you maybe messed up, covering up mod red panels if they were in good shape. Still lots of interest in factory mod red conversions even though it’s not everyone’s cup of tea. Probably could have picked up some black pieces and sold the red for a profit. Of course your were motivated by profit, just saying....
