The Cobra **** doesn’t look like it ‘goes’ with the car. I found this one. Looks a little more classy IMO

NO! The C5 **** for a manual tran is threaded for a 9/16-18 shaft. The C6 shaft is not threaded at all. It attaches with a small screw that is hidden under the shift boot.

Another good option to the massive C5 **** is ..... a C4 ****. It’s smaller and still looks like it belongs in a 5.

Yes. Same thread and lock pin as C5. The one blow has been re-stitched in silver thread.

I got this from a German company for my 02's MGW. It's great, comes threaded for the C5, even lights up at night.

Looks good to me stangyog , is it leather wrapped ?

I like the looks of the C6 **** plus I heard the C6 assembly was better than the C5 so I changed the upper and lower pieces.

It's a little taller than the stock ****, but it feels a lot better in your hand. I'm debating on cutting about 1/2" or so off the shifter threads to make it sit a little lower. My end goal is an MGW shifter.
