Hello fellow members. I thought I would share this photo I took of my two vehicles last weekend. It’s my 2004 Z06 and my 2014 V8 Raptor posted up on the front entrance of the Rome Braves baseball stadium. I think it came out great. Thoughts?! Opinions?!
I do have a gripe about people taking photos with the camera so low to the ground. It actually looks good in this photo but a lot of times I want to see what a car looks like as if I was standing there looking at it instead of as if I was laying on my belly.
For photo advices from corvette community : https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums/photography-180/
the Corvette is sweet, I don't feel for trucks like American guys.. I wonder about the post processing and the forefront. The Corvette rocker color is washed to some kind of dust ground... 🤨. It is counter intuitive, but I would place the cars lower in the picture to minimize the concrete.
sweet rides anyway
my 2cts.

Enjoy.

Thanks for the kind words gents. They are both terrific vehicles that are fun to drive in completely different ways. My truck is my everyday driver that sees all sorts of weather. But my vette, it only gets driven when the sun is out. In my ~6 months of ownership, I have only used the wipers one time and that was to clean the windshield on my 8 hour drive home from Tampa Florida the day I bought it.
Another point that is sometimes tricky to understand, but both of these cars are actually good financial investments as far as automobiles go. The Raptor has one of the best resale values in the automotive industry (save for some crazy exotics) and it doesn't depreciate hardly at all. Similar story with the C5 Z06. Most people believe that they are really at or near the bottom of the depreciation curve. I definitely wouldn't say they are appreciating, but with both of my vehicles, they hold their value extremely well compared to most other cars.
Basically, I doubt the Z06 will ever be a $10,000 dollar car. They literally just aren't making them like this anymore... plus, the manual is gone!!
Again, just my thoughts/opinions. Hope everyone enjoyed the photos! I actually have a canvas print of the first photo coming in the mail this week. I'm stoked!
I love the pictures but I think they may need a different caption. I call my C5 Beauty and my F150 is The Beast. My granddaughters are the ones who started calling them Beauty and the Beast. Who am I to argue with pre-teen girls?
