Have a 2000 millennium yellow auto vette. Don't know any history on the car. Have had it for around 5 years. It has 91000 miles on it. It has never gave me any trouble. I know the 97-00 models get much not to buy advice. but i love mine. It might break tomorrow but as of today i trust it and am very pleased with my purchase..

I think that the 97-00 are just as reliable as the 01-04's and any negative issues are blown out of proportion. Each model year had it's own unique issues and all have certain common issues but that's true of any make and model vehicle out there. I had a '99 for nearly 14 years and it never gave me any trouble. It was a great car and I would buy it back in a minute.
Sounds like you have a great Corvette with many miles of service ahead of you. The key to a trouble free car is to drive them and maintain them and not to let them sit for long periods.

I had a '00 for 7 1/2 years and while I had a few problems with it (excessive oil consumption - fixed under warranty and three leaking differential seals), I really enjoyed the car. Great that you are pleased with yours.
