Had my 97 for a couple years now. Only issues I've had were Crank Sensor and DIC buttons went out. BUT, it's a 24 year old car. All fixed now and really enjoy driving this thing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just enjoy your car. If it breaks, it breaks - it's 20 years old for crying out loud. People seem to get so caught up in what CAN happen that they forget to enjoy the car.

I agree. Knock on wood, but my 2000 is still running the original EBCM. But, my SWPS has been shot for over 10 years. My mistake was not buying a new one when they were still available. Oh well.......

I thought I read something somewhere about a Buick part that was able to be adapted to work on the C5 for this... might have to dig further in my saved links and info archive at home unless someone else knows what I'm talking about.
