What is the correct word for that cover that’s under the steering wheel area? Looking to buy that part but cant seem to find it lol, TIA! It’s the cover that has that space on the left side with buttons for the trunk and the fog lights

What is actually wrong with the one you have. They are hard to find and expensive if you do find one. I was looking for one a couple of weeks ago and it was 250 for a used one. I could not keep the fog light/hatch release panel in place. Found a fix for keeping that panel in place for 39 bucks and fairly easy to fix and worked like a charm.

yea I had the same problem and found the solution to that while looking for a “new” one lol but whenever I did the ignition switch I kinda broke a couple clips off the knee bolster that clips in to keep everything in place but yes they are expensive lol I guess I’ll just see if I can super glue it or 3m tape it or something, definitely not paying no 250 for that part

Epoxy usually works better then super glue. Super glue will not even stick to some plastics. If you do use super glue there is a product called zip-kicker that dries it instantly, makes it stick better and I think it makes it a little stronger. On the down side it turns it yellow. Good luck, fixing clip mounts can be a pain but it is doable.

Very common issue. You can buy repair kits.
