Anyone think these would be a good option for running a wider tire on a C5? I like the factory wheel look and this seems like an inexpensive option to go wider.
As long as the offset and back spacing will clear the wilwood DPC 56 calipers that is.

A 305 tire should fit correct?
Thanks.
I've run, and still do, 315/30/18 tires on the back of my C5 Vert for the last 16 years. No spacers required. However, for the short sidewalls the 30 series tires have, plus the 315mm width, I had to go to 10.5" wide rear wheels. Got them from Bob@House of Wheels. Look just like stock thin spokes. I wouldn't recommend running a 315 on the stock 9.5" wide rear wheels, though

It has been a while, but I remember some forum members installing that style wheel on their C5s. Don't recall any complaints and I personally think the styling is very good. OE Wheels makes a lot of reproduction wheels for vehicles and they have been in business for a number of years.
You can clearly tell your tires are stretched - check TireRack for recommended fitments.
That’s BS. That tire is not stretched. That tire is seated perfectly on that wheel. That tires wheel protection is a good quarter of an inch out from the wheel. I’ve been running that combination for over 12 years. If it was stretched, what problems do you know of, does it create. Tell me please.

Looks stretched to me, anyways I don't know what size you're running, and I don't know the wheel widths that are recommended by it's manufacture...you have to look that up at TireRack, for your specific tire - it depends on the section width, combined with the aspect ratio, combined with the wheel diameter, it varies.
According to Tire Rack, or maybe it was Discount Tire Direct, on one of their sites, Michelin listed a 10.5" wide wheel as a minimum width wheel on the 315/30/18 Pilot Sport 2.........
Well than I’m here to tell you don’t believe everything you read. Real world experience tells me after running two sets of Michelin ZP tires. Over a period of 12 years have created no such problems. It’s like the paper you get in your prescription that tell you all the things that might happen and never do. Thanks for the concern. The manufacturers are covering there asses.
I just put new tires on my LMs which are 17x9 / 18x10 and I ran stock C5 sizing. I'm within the manufacturer spec range for the front wheels, but my tires must run narrow for a 245 since it was the first I've looked at a tire I've run and gone, that looks more stretched than I would have expected. My old Pilot ZPs were 245s as well but must run wider since I didn't notice the stretch nearly as much. Maybe once I burn these tires out I'll go wider.
I’ve got the same dilemma as C5z tires in stock sizes have few choices. The 255 vs 275 debate (stock is 265) is going on.
I was leaning 255 as 275 kinda looks like a balloon compared to the rear, but I’ll probably just pay up extra for the Michelins in the actual stock sizes since they’re still available.
Getting back to the original question. I am running the exact same wheel combination, but went with the 18x9.5 on the front and 18x10.5 on the rear. The 18x9.5 will require a 30mm spacer to clear Willwood Aero6 calipers. The rear, if running WillwoodFNSL4 calipers, will not require a spacer at all.

I originally planned on going with Z06 sizing (knowing I could have issues sourcing the sizes) but once I realized the Z06 rear tire is actually a half inch shorter than the base car it lost some of the allure for me. I’m not lowered as I already scrape leaving my driveway, and adding more wheel gap in the rear just doesn’t work for me. I don’t like the smaller sidewall look on the rear I could run into.
Since I’m not driving the car at 10/10ths 99% of the time I’ll take the aesthetics over the performance. I know people have run taller rear tires (it escapes me if they were a 285 or 305) to assuage this, but for the cost increase, for my intended usage, it didn’t pan out. Hence why I ended up with the Indy 500s (which I know from a prior post are some of your least favorite tires). They had good reviews and TR test results and I was buying to somewhat of a price point.
Of course that’s my statement today. Three years from now I’ll probably change my mind and go with whatever the new hotness is, but for today, I’m good.

No point in arguing too much, as plenty of "official" tire size/rim width charts are available on line, including from major tire manufacturers. 10.5" rims have a range of 275 to 295 in most charts. 285 is generally shown as the upper limit for 10" rims. That particular combination incidentally was used for the base model C6 rear - 285x35 on 19x10 wheels. So, it must be good...
My advice is if you are doing new wheels, go 18/19 - a better range of tires available. And they look better - even econoboxes have 18" wheels these days.

Send me a PM with your email or phone number that I can text pictures to and I will send you some. I am running C6 ZO6 rotors front and back as well and purchased the Willwood brakes from TCE.
