Low dust and good performance are mutually exclusive.

If you just street drive it, a ceramic set will be fine. But they will not be good under hard or repeated use.

Along with my C-5, I also used to own a '96 Z/28 Camaro, that I wasn't overly impressed with it's brakes. Marginal performance and a fair amount of dust. I went with a set of "street performance" pads from Porterfield Racing. I was very satisfied with them. For my wife's former Jaguar XF, I used PowerStop ceramic pads, and was impressed with them, too.

I've got the Powerstop Z23 carbon fiber pads and they stop well with minimal dust produced. I've had them on my 2014 also and had the same results.

i usually dont go over 100 but i do city driving about 60% of the time and the only accident i have ever been in was because i couldnt stop in time due to brake failure. i dont like cleaning my wheels everytime i drive but will ceramics work for me or should i stick with regular. im on a limited budget at the moment and only really changing them for safety and not track use.

I currently have the power stop Z23 pads. They are low dust, and they should serve your needs well. I'm replacing them, because they don't do well with high performance driving. However, I've never had an issue with regular street driving. With that said, since money is tight the normal OEM pads are fine.

I used Hawk HPS street pads on my '00 and they worked very well. I did not notice a lot of dusting on the wheels and stopping performance was very good.
