Just thought I’d share this... over the past few months I’ve added a Holley CAI and LG street headers (catted) to my otherwise-stock Z06 with 51k miles. I decided to have it tuned at a local shop - Horsepower Addicts in Wilmington, DE. Big shout out to Josh, who was super helpful and willing to share his expertise with a novice corvette weekend-warrior like me.
Results of the dyno showed 371hp and 374 ft lb. - better than I expected. But the best part was hearing the roar at 6000+ rpm. Literally hair-raising!
So your 2001 was originally spec.ed as 385 crankshaft, which should have equated to about 327 RWHP -- meaning you've probably gained on the order of 44 HP. Not shabby, not by a long shot. That's enough to really feel it in the driver's seat. Or so I imagine, since I haven't added 44 HP as of yet...
I always learn on this forum - just found other articles on STD vs SAE correction. It’s certainly interesting info to have - I’ll check in with the tune shop and ask. Based on what I read, the reference standards are different for STD vs SAE, so it’s not an apples to apples comparison but SAE may be more accurate.
Question... Where the dyno sheet says “STD: 1.01”, I assume that 1.01 is the approximate adjustment factor due to the variance from STD reference conditions on that day. It this a correct interpretation? I have read that a valid dyno will have a factor between 0.93 and 1.07.

With a manual transmission, 385 at the crank should be 339 WHP (manuals lose 12% to the rear wheel, automatics lose 18%. That said, GM's engine horsepower rating is a little conservative, so stock ZO6s usually dyno at 11% or 10% less than the 385 engine horsepower rating. The bottom line here is that the OP gained some WHP, but not 44, most likely.
