Car looks great. Not sure on the headlights either. Live with them for awhile and see if they grow on you. They are much better then the 'frog' ones that some cars have, IMHO.
I've never seen an aftermarket headlight that I liked. Some people may not like the look of the pop-up lights but at least you only have to see them when they're up and not 24/7 like the frog eye ones. But enough about them. What's the specs on the LPE?
Totally built motor by LPE .All normally aspirated. LPE CAM 575/585,LPE CNC ported and polished heads ,totally forged bottom end .LPE long tube headers ,mini tubed Baer brakes and rotors .Dyno sheet shows 495hp/485tq.The original owner spent a ton on it .only 30k miles on clock.
I have to thank the divorce gods for this car . Bought it from pissed off ex wife lol that homeboy got caught letting his girlfriend drive it.
The question to myself with the C5 is, do I Really need to drive At Night?.. ANYTHING would be better than the stock headlights GM stuck on the C5... Perhaps The Corporation could have funded a headlight that actually enabled the driver to see where the hell he was going!... But "they" didn't... Your headlights look fine and I bet you can see without squinting or physicall damage to your eyes... Plus they are
functional!... C5 drivers have to see at night, but we must use headlights that are the worst in the history of the automobile.... Headlights on my old Model A are better than those on the C5....

In the 6+years of owning, I have not driven at night. BUT, just in case I need to, I upgraded my bulbs in the headlights and fog lights to brighter plus installed the Radioflyer I-4 Harness that allows both the bright and dims on at the same time.
Congrats IronMaidens. That is a classic performance package.
I agree with c5arlen. Will you really drive the car at night? I know I don't, and it's not because I'm scared too. I just rarely have a need to. My vote is put the stockers back in but that's just me.

Very true! many times I avoid taking the car on long trips when I know I'm away for a few days cause I don't wanna drive at night on the highway with those headlights! Hard to believe how GM stuck those lights on their top of the line car back in 97 and probably their most expensive car at the time. And the problem is so far I haven't seen a set of aftermarket headlights that I like.
However if my car came with those headlights on the OP's black car id probably keep them if they are better than factory!
