Nice to meet everyone. I purchased a clean 97 c5 m6 last week. 32k miles, very clean. Has full
exhaust and vararam. Looking forward to having fun with this car and talking with everyone. Had 4 f bodies but first time owner of a vette. So far I love it!!

Welcome.
only 32k. Barely broken in!
Looks like it is in great shape.
I have a 99 convertible. Love driving it.
Are you planning to do your own work when issues crop up or have you found a reliable shop willing to work on it?

Congrats Nbliss.

I Think I have the sister car to yours. Also a 97 M6 all black. Also low miles lol. Currently sitting at 33k.

Enjoy it.

Great looking C5! I owned 3 f-bodies in the past as well and my only regret is not buying a Vette sooner!

You will love it.

You got the right color, and now start living the dream, and suggestions, join a Corvette Club, fun to meet and cruise with people that have the love of owning and driving the only true American sports car.

Congratulations! Your new ride looks great, and with only 32K miles, it's ready for the Great American Road Trip (if you're so inclined).

I got my first Corvette at the end of January ... 35K miles, but it's a 2001 convertible in Light Pewter Metallic.

If you've got a place to work on it, you're far ahead of me. I've had a couple of repairs, but I remind myself that it IS a twenty-year-old car, and it's been a garage-queen up to now. I took it across the USA last month, clocking up 7000 miles in three weeks, and I had a blast!

If you have not already, get a set of the GM Factory Service Manual for your car. There are some listed on eBay right now. Not the aftermarket types. I mean the true GM ones. These manuals are a gold mine of info.

With those manuals and this forum, only your desire and shop space will limit what you can fix on your car.
