To all you guys who have deleted the selective ride/magnetic ride shocks from your cars, what do you do with the dead selector **** on the center console? Do you just replace the whole plastic piece with one from a car that didn't have it? Has anybody reused the location for something else? I was thinking if there was room under the plastic you could probably remove the ride option selector and put a wireless charger for your phone in its place. I'm just curious how other owners have dealt with this since I hate having nonfunctional buttons.
I was in such a state with answering that question myself!... 🤔 So it was a no brainer to simply replace those very very special shock absorbers with the ones designed for the C5 Corvette originally!... What's wrong with that?... What else is more important than my car I ask?... I'll "save money" elsewhere!... and smile thinking of the "the reading".... Damn the will! Full throttle ahead! 😂😁👍

The factory magnetic shock absorbers were discontinued and are no longer available. It's more of an availability issue than a saving money issue for some of us. Many people are installing C6 Z06 shocks as a slightly less heretical upgrade.
I do believe that it would be possible to install a USB charger in that spot. However, I would just do as other have suggested and get a replacement panel for a car without the MRC.
