Any suggestions on how to keep the cabin cooler in a Vette vert. Right now using rolled up moving blankets 2 as a divider between cabin and trunk. Works pretty well except can’t store top when using them. Do you think wall insulation board would work cut to size help in this matter. Deadening sound is not a problem. The blankets do that nicely too. Thanks.
Good working A/C and tint the **** out of it .
The darker the tint the better.
I have 50on the windshield and 20 on sides and back as my wife doesn’t want it too dark at night .
35 on windshield and 5 on sides and 2 layers of 5 on the back and that would be the ticket .
add silver foil insulation to the floors and trunk under carpets
I added the Crazy Cowboy thermal insulation kit to my '99 (in Orlando), added some Stinger RoadKill acoustic sheets to flat areas under the seats and on the back wall. Didn't have the A/C working at the time and was dying. Dropped the interior what felt like 20 degrees. Moreover, first time I started the car after completing the installation I thought the exhaust had changed, it was so much quieter inside the car.
