Custom Dash Message
Hi - when you start up the C5 Corvette the lower dash readout scrolls "Corvette" and then "By Chevrolet"
Has any one every looked into seeing if you can program a custom message there? I've programmed various LED matrix panels before - but nothing internal like that. Would be a neat little hack and thought this would be the place to start!

Seen a few threads on this, but no one has been able to make it happen. I know they're programmable on the C6, but not on the C5 (at least, not to anyone's knowledge that's talked about it, anyway).

This has been discussed before. No one has hacked into the C5 software and been successful in making a change like that. The C6 if I recall correctly had a capability to change the startup message.
