Default New z06 owner

Hey everyone I just wanted to introduce myself. I am a new c5 z06 owner and I just got her last week. I flew to Salt Lake city and drove 700 MI home. She ran like a dream. I am coming from the vw community and this is my first rear wheel drive v8. Both my father and uncle had c5s back in the day and I always wanted one and now I do in electron blue with 23,000 miles. I hope to meet some cool vette owners and learn even more about these rides thnaks.

The wave is a WONDERFUL Corvette tradition, that is in some danger of dying out. I will always wave to other Corvette owners. I usually get a wave back, but not always. Of course, driving safely always comes first. I like to make sure that new owners are aware of the tradition.

Welcome to the best forum. The sponsor's have great deals for us. I always use them rather than the internet junk. You will find everyone very helpful in suggestions although sometimes it gets out of hand that the moderators have to step in. The wave seems to be for the owners of older Corvettes. I have waved to several C'8 and C-7s and they just stare. But I keep trying to educate.

Welcome to the C5 Z06 world. Great cars and lots of fun. Enjoy and don't be scared to tinker with it. This forum is a wealth of great helpful info. Gave me the confidence to do a lot of my own work.
