Default Is this a good deal?

I found a 2003 with over 110k miles. Private seller. They want $19,000. Has a scratch over top of headlight cover. Everything else is in great condition. Should I buy it?

Seems WAY overpriced for an ‘03 with 110k miles. Something closer to $10,000 seems more appropriate.

A good deal is a state of mind, not a number.

To me, that's not one.

They are all really inflated right now. A couple of years ago that would have listed for like 12K now you would see it at 15-16K. I wouldn't pay 19K for that mileage though, last winter I was looking at 70 thousand mile Z06's for ~18-19K.

Check national listings on CarGurus.com for similar cars - $19k will buy you the same car with around 60k miles..... or an early model C6 with the same miles.

Don’t know if I would say good or bad deal. I will say I would not pay that for that car. To many miles.

Not enough information or pictures.
I wouldn't pay anywhere near $19k for a C5 with 110K miles.

I posted here about 2 years ago that I saw 2003 anniversary edition M6 convertible with 110,000 miles asking 10,000.00 and most here thought that's about what it was worth.

Car was one owner ad said, maroon paint and in good shape, I thought the price was good but didn't buy.

It has … but not enough to pay $19,000 for a 2003 base Corvette with 110k miles.

Hes on crack covid or not. Those are 9-10k cars in ca all day. Now if it was real cherry wasnt needing work (bushings for instance) maybe 12k?
Many sellers are out of touch wtih their cars worth or simply arent ready to sell.

It was over 3 years ago, and I found the thread, kinda interesting to see what CF members thought what's going to happen in the future on prices.

I got mine last yr for 16.9 w/under 50k mi. Production halt has inflated the used car market. I would wait it out a lil while.

Way over priced. For that kind of money you should be able to get one with 60,000 miles.
