Default C7 Z06 wheel question

I am wanting to get some repo C7 Z06 wheels for my C5, but I am lost with the sizing. I have several questions. I was originally wanting the stock sizing, but after looking at some other C5's I am thinking the 18/19 staggered looks better than the 17/18. I have heard that if you move away from stock sizing, it can cause issues with traction control and stability control. Is that going to be an issue? Also, what is the best width for the 18/19? I don't want to have any (or much) wheel poke. What would the best offset be?

Thank y'all so much for your help!

Post a link to the wheels in question, to save a lot of wasted questions.

Have not seen the 19’s much in the reps of the C7 Z06. Going to 18/19 doesnt do anything its if ya get the tires the wrong sizes etc etc.

^ fronts look okay but I think the rear +79 will be too sunken in and may need a spacer...

@USAZR1 will know for sure

Those 18x8.5's with +56 offset would work fine but those 19x10's with +79 would need a 3/4" or 1" (my preference) spacer for best fit.
Thanks, JD.

Great! Thank you for your reply!

As far as tire sizing, I was reading I would probably be best with 265-35-18 and 285-30-19. Am I on track with the tire sizing? I don't want to mess up my speedo/tach/ traction control or any of that stuff.

Personally, I would go with 265/35/18 fronts and 305/30/19 rears. Hard to beat that combo for availability, cost, and performance on a street car.
Don't worry about the other stuff, you'll be fine.

would this be a good set up for a daily driver or would you go with a 18inch wheel so that you can get some more sidewall.

I ran that same tire size combo on my Z06, for two years. I prefer 19" rear tires for their much better selection of widths and aspect ratios.
Sidewall height is way overvalued, by some people. A 3.5" to 4" sidewall is plenty.
