Default How to send to absfixer?

Just paid to get my ebcm fixed but had a quick question. The shipping charge that they added is for them to cover the shipping once they are done and send it back? So on-top of the price to fix and shipping I will have to pay for shipping to get it sent to them correct?

Seems like a question to ask them. But typically with most repair services of this type (several on eBay) outbound shipping is on you.

Pro tip: sign up for an account at pirateship.com - it's free, and you'll get the best deals on USPS shipping. I use it for work frequently.

All they are is a USPS passthru. So if USPS will ship it, it will fly.

I have had better luck with oversize stuff with UPS. When I shipped a targa top, UPS was about $60 and USPS, even through Pirate Ship, was over 3x that amount.

Is it cheaper than creating shipping labels through Paypal which also has discounted shipping? Because you can do that in Paypal without having an order attached to it.

Yes, you will have to pay for shipping to get the item to them. Shouldn’t be too expensive.

they still around, sent mine in and got it back in a week. But they don’t answer to emails though at least not mine even after 3 emails but I got mine fixed by them and it took off the abs and traction lights off and I can now turn off and turn on with no issues and no codes too

I think I outlined my ordeal in another thread, but I just shipped my EBCM to ABSfixer, about a month ago, and they had it heading back to me within one day. I'm 100% satisfied with their service, and they promptly answered the couple of e-mails that I sent them, prior to shipping my unit to them.

My shipping experience "to and fro", with FedEx, however, is a VERY different story.......it was a total CF, and I don't mean 'Corvette Forum'.

I have also used ABS Fixer with great results. I had one that was not repairable and they got me a replacement.

They're still around, we use him at work. His rates plus the shipping are extremely fair and typically super fast. He is excellent to work with and is always upfront about any potential issue and will often times provide some troubleshooting assistance to make sure you don't take your car down to send him something he can't repair.

Really can't say enough, class act all around.
