Hot Rod Garage
Hot Rod garage is doing a (2) part series on modifying a C5 as an all around project, ( drag, drift, auto cross) pretty interesting...

That was last season, wasn't it?
The guys on CarFix just did one for this week's episode too. They put PRC heads and a TSP cam kit on a black base model. Looked nice.

Good to see shows that showcase the C5 - will have to look for the channel that it is on.

MotorTrend. Either on demand, or cable. IMHO, the pay service is well worth it.

I saw both episodes and I gotta say I wasn't much impressed. Only 12.70s in the 1/4 with a 2.0 60 foot is VERY disappointing for a HCI car. And as far as the "handling" episode, all that was, was a look what I bolted on to slide around and compare it to nothing. But none the less, it was good to see a C5 get some love on TV.

Yeah the 12.70 was disappointing in my book for what they estimated 500 hp. Tony did show his drifting chops , though not my cup of tea...I liked the fact that they picked a C5 as a “ do all” project

I enjoyed the episodes.
as for the 12.70, anyone that’s ever driven a manual trans C5 on an actual drag strip knows it takes a bit of driver mod to get the best performance out of it. So, overall, a pretty good job.
