[Z06] Header clearance

Header clearance
Just installed the TTS Long Tubes. The muffler shop welded in the collectors and X pipe. Drove around last night and when making a quick left turn heard a vibration. I think i found the vibration point it is the passenger side header.
It appears to only clear the frame by 1/16" What can I do? Anyone else have the same problem?

When I was testing different headers the TTS were very close to the area you talk about, but on my car they did not hit, close though. I would contact who you purchased them from and tell them you want them to make it right. :)

I called the guys at TTS. I was told the castings were all different and to fix the problem I should file down the frame :confused: I guess a 1/8" wont hurt :cry

WTF? File the frame? I don't think so! If their product doesn't fit the car as it it supposed to, it is a defective part and you shoud get a new header or your money back, plus the cost to pay someone to put it back to stock. :mad

They (TTS) said all castings were different, some cleared others did not. Took off about 3/16" on the edge where it was making contact. Test drive same result, hard left turn under acceleration and the header makes contact. :cuss I have the 1/4" clearance TTS said I needed :skep:
