Yeah, I had it on the rear deck lid and it picked up too much wind noise. I'm going to go rear bumper next time and see if I can get the exhaust more.
The flash from the z06 was an effect I added, his car does shoot small flames on occasion so I added that to mess with him, lol. Forgot about that. I'm lead car in a coupe.
As someone who also screws around on YouTube and plays with Go Pros a couple of things.
While I totally dig the music style, it's too much. I made it about 1 minute in.
Also agree that more engine sounds are always better.
As far as wind noise, get yourself some aftermarket mics, extension cables, and deadcats for your Mics and you will zero problems with wind noise.
I bought a refurbed Hero 5 black for outside the car duties as it was cheap enough that if it were to fall off I wouldn't cry too much. That being said I generally only use it on glass and it has never fallen off.
My biggest thing I have not been able to overcome yet is engine noises so loud that it overdrives the Mic and starts popping and static. My car is quite loud at the tips though.
