This is a weird one .... For a couple of weeks, I noticed water in the hatch whenever it rains. Eventually I tracked the source. Given that I have never seen it reported, I thought it is worth discussing.
The hatch is made up of two composite parts, the tube and the lip, which are bonded together. The seam between them near the door jam started leaking. The water ran behind the speaker to the carpet and spread from there.
