Default Sun Visors

Looking for a set of new sun visors and having some difficulty finding ones of quality. Ecklers had a set that got decent reviews but I think now that are out of business. There is another kind that is offered on Amazon and eBay that are not of any quality according to a YouTube video and quite a few reviews i have read.. Does anyone here in this forum know where I can purchase a new set that is of good quality? I am looking for the ones that fit a 2002 C5 convertible with the lighted mirror. Even if it does not have the lighted mirrors that would still be good option . Thanks in advance.

Perhaps if yours are functional, but in ratty condition you may just want to recover them with leather covers.
J_F_Customs on Ebay offers DIY leather covers for sun visors.

Who has an easy trick to fix/connect back the flappy side ears which are cardboard and breaks inside the cloth. I tried injecting glue with a needle but was hard to get enough in.

You can post up a thread in the C5 Parts for Sale/Wanted section and see if someone has a nice set, contact one of the forum's used parts vendors (Vettenuts or aescorvetteparts) or see if a vendor like APSIS may have something.

I checked my source for replacement visors that I bought on eBay a couple of years ago and it appears they are no longer in stock. I've been very satisfied with them. Perhaps contact the seller ("buyavette_inc") and see if the seller expects to have more in stock at a later date. If so, I'd say worth the wait.

I bought a pair of aftermarket visors on eBay a few years ago, but they aren't available today. There are several pairs of OEM for $168 and up.

Eckler's is not out of business. I bought a set from them awhile back. They do not perfectly match the OEM visors. However, they did appear to actually be of superior quality.

Yeah "buyavette_inc" is still active, that’s where the link from v6turbo87 takes you. I just ordered a pair of visors and a dual cupholder from them. Take a look at the ebay link if you need some. They’re already upgraded to LED and they use a plastic reinforcement panel with different hinges inside.

I just bought some from Ecklers. They are fine, except the lED lights are not very bright, but I don't care about that.

I did the same. I always have sunglasses in the car, so the visors were just an eyesore. Being on the tall side the extra visibility out the front once removed was actually pretty noticeable.

For $168 I don't mind, and kinda like floppy ear visors... It's a C5 thing.. Unpretentious.... If you just gotta spend money, replace with F45 not F55. 😉
