Took a few days off with the wife and came down to Bowling Green this week for the first time. If you’re a Corvette enthusiast it’s well worth, for me, the 8 hour drive.
Our hotel is literally across the street from the assembly plant, less than 5 minutes from the National Corvette Museum and the Motorsports Park.
Today we toured the museum and I did 4 laps in a new C8….holy crap!!!! I’m trying to figure out which organs I can sell to buy one. I’ve never gotten light headed cornering anything before. I was able to push that thing well beyond my capabilities.
If you’ve not made the trip, do yourself a favor and make it happen. If you don’t want to spend a crap ton of money I don’t suggest tracking the C8 😃
I literally drove right past it on a 7,200 mile road trip a few weeks ago and somewhat regret not stopping. I think the sinkhole exhibit would have been cool to see haha

Theres an entire section dedicated to the sinkhole. Here’s a few pictures I took since you missed out 👍
Awesome! I regret not seeing about some track time while I was there with my daughter, but I wasn't sure if they would let her ride along at 15.... Next trip though....
When did you get into town? When are you leaving? Only reason I ask is because I live here and there are a few cool things going on that you may or may not have missed. Last weekend was NCM’s 27th Anniversary and this weekend is LS Fest at Beech Bend

The museum is a great place to visit - so much Corvette history to see and learn about. Glad you had a good time and were able to take advantage of driving a C8 at the NCM Motorsports track.

We came in on Monday and just got back home today. It was just a quick trip to get out of town for a few days. I’m sure there was a bunch we missed and I’m bummed we couldn’t stay for LS Fest. We stopped in at Art’s and he was talking about it. Next trip I’ll have to plan a little better around the events.
