I use a damp (just water) microfiber cloth, followed by a dry microfiber cloth. Be very gentle when cleaning (don't press too hard)- particularly if the top is original to your car, the windows are starting to come unglued. Ask me how I know. . . .(mine came unglued on my 17 years old top and I replaced the top. The owner of the trim shop said he was seeing a lot of C5 convertibles coming in so I was not alone)..
I also had to replace my top because the window came out. The new top has a lifetime warranty on the rear window. I use invisible glass glass cleaner on a paper towel to clean all the glass including the rear window. You do want to be careful though.
I repaired my original top window 2 times in the 7 years of ownership. When I clean the outside, I now stuff a king pillow against the inside of the window hoping not to do the repair the third time.
When I wash the car, I start with the shampoo on a sponge and do the glass area, front, sides and rear. As other said, with low pressure to keep the glass on 🤞🏼. I would suggest that you wash your top and impregnate it first if you did not do it and then wash the glass. Interior i do with a spray for glass or with very hot low dilution of dish soap solution and dry with kitchen paper, which tends to avoid foggy windows.
all the best.

I avoid cleaners which might be hard on the cloth material, like glass cleaners with ammonia, but other than using care around the defroster wires, that is about it.

Thanks rrwirsi, I'm going to give that a try.
